Evelyn is a graduate of Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI, and has completed training in Spiritual Direction from the Dominican Center at Marywood in Grand Rapids.

Her interest in developmental education and spiritual formation continues to shape her ministry.

She has worked in student development, faculty development and formation for ministry at Calvin College and Western Seminary. She has also served as intentional interim minister to several Prebyterian and Reformed churches. She is called to this congregation as designated pastor.
